While I spend time recovering from leg surgery at my parent’s house in Wiltshire, I decided to make the most of my visit. I was told by my surgeon to build up my walking slowly, and now, six weeks after the surgery, I thought I’d try something a little more hardcore than a wander around town.
This is the Chalke Valley Nature Reserve, found in the Coombe Bissett, Salisbury. Abundant in flora and fauna, it is a fantastic location for nature lovers, spectacular views, and a good old roam about the countryside.
(And luckily for me, you can drive right up to it!)
